Essential Characteristics of Life
Central DogmaAll of life has a genetic code so everything in life begins with the Central Dogma. The central dogma describes the genetic flow beginning with DNA, followed by RNA, which then make proteins. The genetic information found in cells is transcribed into the RNA. Then the process known as translation takes place. Here, the MRNA takes the transcribed DNA out of the nucleus and into the ribosomes. The information can then be converted to protiens.
